Dutton Dunwich lies in the heart of the Talbot Settlement 149 kilometers
east of Windsor on highway 401 between Chatham and London. It is basically a
rural agricultural related community of about 1500 in the village and
another 1500 in the township. Commuting time to London, Chatham, Strathroy,
Sarnia is about 1 hour. We have a number
of retail and service shops, besides a public school, John Kenneth Galbraith
Reference Library, daycare
center, medical center. You may check out the business that are located within the
boundaries of Dutton Dunwich in the commerce section.
We are basicly a rural farm community and act as a bedroom community for those employed in London, St. Thomas, Strathroy and Chatham.
Agriculture is primarily wheat, corn and soybean with a number of pork, chicken and egg operations
